Amarula Fudge - Sabi Sabi

Ingredients


1 x 400g tin condensed milk

150ml Amarula Liqueur

350g treacle sugar

115g butter

Recipe


Add all ingredients to a heavy bottomed pot. Cook slowly until the mixture starts to thicken and changes colour to a light toffee shade; stir continuously ensuring it doesn't burn.

Bring to the boil until the mixture reached 118 °C.

Remove from the heat immediately and place into a blender. Blend until the mix has cooled.

Pour into a tray lined with baking paper.

Allow to cool and then cut into squares and serve.

Amarula liqueur is made from the fruit of the Marula tree - plentiful in Sabi Sabi and the tree after which our company named!
